Three-time Grammy Award winning Blues pianist, Pinetop Perkins, passed away last year, four months before he would have turned 98. Heaven is an astounding, intimate, set of solo and small-group studio recordings from 1986, delivering the lightly swinging boogie woogie for which he was beloved.
Perkin's is joined by guest vocalists Willie Smith and Otis Clay on one tune each.
